    The UK version is branded as GLM 150-27 C and its just like my faithful GLM 50C but on steriods - bigger, and 3x stronger in range! The shirt I swear by maybe not for open flame is 32 degrees air mesh shirts. They are about as holey as you an get without being transparent. Best yet black dosent show sweat marks and they come in 3 packs for under 20 dollars. If I destroy them move on for 5 to 8 dollars a shirt. At its worst here in Portland or we have them available from April to August. They come in 4 packs for 22 and sometimes as 15 or 12 dollars for 4 shirts! We put company names on them. They are as thin thousands thick basically thinner than you think it will be. They are medium strong there not lifetime shirts but for at times 3 dollars a shirt I don't care if they get painted or caulked. I'm a really warm person (shorts and airm mesh shirts in the snow and freezing temperatures. So when summer comes around I need something that dosent show any sweat stains. Thoes Japanese levels are amazing and cheap they come in pink orange all kinds of great colors and are under 20 bucks. I've since switched to mp2x and like the extra tool space basically a complete quick grab pouch without the entire bag. Thoes v swap pannels are great and if you order the build out edition you choose the pannels and don't pay for something you won't use it was just under 400? That clip on the front us from ripnot amazing usa product add a super low profile clip anyplace. Every service person should carry a sharkbite cap and ball valve in a bag! I have used 4 this past 2 weeks alone due to old apartments brittle copper changing out faucets. You need the valve to put on pipes that are spewing out water to pass through then shut it off. The insulated instalation pliers are us 12/14g and are amazing to use. I wish they had the spring like thr European market gets and the lock closed. The bottom part of the orange pannel is removable too for bigger tools fyi. Any questions ask away I'll let you know what it us or how it works thanks.

      The black scissors are Canary made in Japan carpet scissors they are very good and under 12 bucks ussaly. One thing you missed was on the plumbing tools is what's called a mandle. The silver bushing with the long screws in it. That locks on to shutoff valves or anything without a handle or one thats broken off. It's better than mangling it with cobras and it does minimal damage to threads. That has saved my bacon way too many times and it dosent have to be plumbing it can be gas as well.

      The question on will European strippers work on us awg is kinda. The 1.5 if I looked it up right is closest to 16g which would be a European lighting circuit. The 12 g is equal to the 2.5 they use for sockets. I have had my hands on a European stripper before and you an strip the 14g solid ok if you don't bite down hard and control it. It's something the person that had the European strippers that let me try them showed me. The big advantage of the installation pliers euro edition is they are spring loaded like the forged wire strippers. When they come out with a spring loaded awg installation pliers I will defently vote with my wallet and pay the knipex tax.

    @morgansmaintenance Your viewers are very astute. I’m just a homeowner/DIY enthusiast and not a skilled trade professional. I’m an IT Director for a living. Prior to finding Morgan’s Maintenance on UA-cam, I hadn’t really bought any/many tools in the last 10-15 years. Most of my stuff was traditional Craftsman purchased at Sears over the years. One of the ways I’ve kept a positive outlook after having gone through several hundred hours of chemotherapy on a pump, several hundred chemo pills, twenty eight consecutive weekdays of radiation, and very invasive surgery was to plan out all the things I want to do and all the places I want to go once I’m healthier. I really built up my truck for overlanding. I can’t wait for cooler fall weather, and maybe by then I’ll be healthy enough to go camp and see some National Parks. (I’m @trucknorrisram on IG.) On the tools side of things there’s a million projects around the house I want to complete, and I love building stuff - tables, work benches, shelves, etc. I found it quite humorous when Mr. Morgan said a few times that we have very similar tastes. About 90% of the products in the two Veto Pro Pacs were reviewed right on this channel - all the Klein screwdrivers, the Vessel screwdriver, the Knipex products, M12 Surge, and even the same Veto bags. We have similar tastes because I took your suggestions from products you’ve tried. Those bags are set up to handle about 80% of the household chores. They’re a great organizational tool for me to have two grab bags of gear that will allow me to do a lot of chores and repairs around the house. Not pictured were all the Milwaukee M12/M18 and Makita XGT kit I’ve been accumulating. I put up a full Packout wall up in the garage to organize things. My first two projects now that I’m starting to feel a little better are going to be integrated deck seating on the back deck and replacing multiple window sills that my 3 dogs chewed on when they were puppies. Keep up the great work. Love the channel. For those of you who sent me well wishes and prayers, please keep them coming. I’ve never felt more of a presence of the Holy Spirit than I have since being diagnosed with cancer. I can feel your well wishes and prayers. I sleep so much better knowing there’s an army of prayer warriors out there in my corner. Take care and best wishes to all!

    Try those (i think either silicone or vinyl not sure) "transparent tubings". The good ones start flexible, the cheap ones are a bit tougher but not like PEX. Either way at first when you give them some light heating they become softer, which would facilitate a tight friction-fit (usually onto a barb fitting but would fit your usecase), but if they're exposed to heat for some time they lose a lot of flexibility. So it will be very easy for you to fit it into place, and then if you heat it some more it should lose a lot of flexibility. Also what might be cool is to put the sticker on the inside of the tubing rather than the outside, might lose some readability but worth a try.

    Since you drove home the definition of tool talk I take it some ugliness has come from one in the past I wasn't aware of? Without calling a name out can we discuss what went wrong trolling or what? The best way to prevent issues is to make people aware of them.

    • @MORGANSMaintenance
      @MORGANSMaintenance 2 дні тому

      No, nothing bad. I’m just meaning my purpose behind tool talk videos is never to say “my way (or this way) is the best way”… I’m just sharing something and really want feedback and other ideas from people. My hope is the comment section is better than the video. I’ve been pretty lucky on this channel. It’s few and far between on the bad comments… but I don’t mind them. I’ll listen to anyones opinion. You can learn something from anyone. Tool talks to me are more about just talking about a subject in general terms. Tool Reviews are more about specifics on something or one item. Sometimes I have a hard time deciding which one a video actually fits in, I just pick which one I think is best.

    Does it come in black 😆 🤣. That's a good cheap way to label something for sure. I don't have alot of packout organizers less than 5 per vehicle and mine might have 10 so good old mental memory ussaly just knows. I tend to put stuff back in it's place and every time so it's not such an issue. In the past I've used the cheap plastic cartridge 80s style labels and they turn out fine no packing tape required. One thing with the packing tape and it's important is to put thoes over the labels on your ladders! It may not seem like a big deal but if you ever show up on a jobsite and osha pops up that will save you fines questions or your bacon. Yes they can google the model but some inspectors are lazy and just give you a fine and call it good. We personally don't allow any step stool or ladder that isn't iaa or 375 rating at work. I don't care if it costs more money your insurance company or workman's comp will ask questions and investigate don't give them a reason to deny. So yea put clear tape on your ladder labels or even power tool seral number for warranty purposes (oil based laquer will work too and won't peel up).

    • @MattHmm-rq6dn
      @MattHmm-rq6dn 2 дні тому

      That mostly came from comerical we couldn't use aluminum anything ladder. Also with a anyone weighting 250lbs or more for insurance requirements 375 ladders were mandatory since tools and belts can really add up in weight. As for the labels if a ladder on a comerical site didn't have a readable label it was sawzalled and thrown in the trash no warning! Some of the insurance requirements at some businesses we work at won't let you in the building to work unless these things are met and this isn't Intel it's smaller companies. It's not all seriousness here it's a way to not get kicked off a job before you start or have insurance claim issues cya. On a side note if you did thr pex thing you could spot stolen tools quickly maybe do it in a fun font!
